What is VerticalFit?
VerticalFit LLC is a San Antonio, Texas company owned and run by its founder, Anthony Morton. We help small and mid-sized Texas businesses hire right with pre-hire fit assessments, get found with the $49 Website, and work smarter with AI bots, in English and Spanish.
What is a pre-hire fit assessment?
It is a role-specific questionnaire about how a candidate tends to work. It measures six traits, weights them for the job you are hiring for, and is scored automatically, so the report lands in your inbox within seconds. It is not a background check and should be used alongside an interview and reference checks.
How does the assessment work?
You pick the role in your employer portal and send the candidate their own link. They answer 50 short statements in about 15 to 20 minutes, with no account needed. The scored report is emailed to your hiring team, with what to probe in the interview.
Which industries do VerticalFit assessments serve?
Legal, finance, sales and the trades, including HVAC, plumbing, roofing and electrical. Each industry has its own roles, questions and scoring. More industries are in development.
How much do the hiring assessments cost?
$89 per month plus applicable sales tax for unlimited assessments, for employers who subscribe by December 31, 2026. That founding rate stays fixed while the subscription is active. After that, new subscribers pay $119 per month. There is no setup fee and no per-candidate charge.
What is in the free law firm sample report?
It is a complete sample report for a fictional law-firm candidate, exactly what you receive when a real candidate finishes: the fit rating for the role, how they would fit your other roles, a six-trait profile weighted for the job, and the integrity check with what to probe in the interview.
What is the $49 Website?
A custom, mobile-ready website for your business with hosting, SSL and local SEO setup, built by the owner. It is $49 per month plus applicable sales tax on a 12-month term, with no build fee and no hidden fees. A Spanish toggle can be added for $15 per month, and it is included in the $197 per month Growth Plan.
What AI bots does VerticalFit offer?
